1. Form

   The present continuous is built with two pieces: the verb to be and the main verb with -ing.

2. Use

   The present continuous describes an action that is happening at the moment when we speak.

3. Simple or continuous

   The two present tenses do not say the same thing: one speaks about habits, the other about the present moment.
