   We say hello when we meet somebody, and goodbye when we leave. In English we choose the words with the time of the day.

2. Introducing myself

   We give our name so that other people know us. In English we say I am and then our name.

3. How are you?

   After hello we ask about the person. The question is always the same, and the answer is short.
