1. Affirmative form

   The present simple is the tense of habits and of things that are always true. It is the tense you use to speak about your everyday life.

2. Third person -s

   In the present simple, only he, she and it change the verb: they add an -s. This small letter is the most frequent mistake of the year.

3. Negative form

   To say that something is not true, the present simple uses the auxiliary do or does with not. The main verb then goes back to its base form.
